So Long Tony Hillerman


Tony Hillerman, author of the Joe Leaphorn/Jim Chee Navajo Tribal Police crime novels died today in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Hillerman was 83 years old. Hágoónee' Tony, my friend.

  5. I was introduced to Tony Hillerman's books just before a trip to New Mexico twenty years ago. I have anxiously awaited each new book ever since. I was hoping for just one more.

  6. I didn't know! I enjoy his books. They were a window to a people and a culture I knew nothing about.
